PRIVACY

Privacy policy

This policy covers the current public features of the SREFLY brand website, Collect and Style.

Last updated:

Scope

This policy describes current data processing on the SREFLY for Chrome website and summarizes the extension’s data use. The website and extension are separate environments. Website demos do not access your extension library.

The website links to Lemon Squeezy checkout and has no website account registration or support form. Data handling for purchases and activation is described below.

Browsing and interactive demos

This website remembers your language preference in this browser’s local storage. Clearing site data restores the default language.

The website does not currently load analytics, advertising trackers or third-party image services, and sets no tracking cookies. Saving, organization and search demos use sample data in this page only and reset on refresh.

Website search uses keywords in the URL, so sharing a URL may also share your search terms. Do not enter serials, passwords or private data. Your browser may still retain history, cache and clipboard content.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 and CloudFront host and deliver this website. AWS processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information. This site has not enabled CloudFront visitor access logs or S3 server access logs and has no visitor analytics or request database. AWS handles its own operational and security data under its policies. We will update this policy if additional logging or analytics is enabled.

Browsing and saving in SREFLY Style

Style stores saved style IDs in localStorage for this website origin. Recent searches use sessionStorage in the current tab, up to six entries, and can be cleared in the search panel. Clearing website data may remove these saved styles and preferences.

Search and filter conditions remain in the URL and are sent to the website with page requests. Source previews may request images from sources such as sref.site or SrefHunt, which may receive normal connection information. The public Style library currently has no member login, private cloud library or paid unlocks.

The website serves content using AWS CloudFront, S3 and Lambda. Service providers process normal connection data needed for content delivery, security and rate limiting. The website has no third-party analytics or advertising tracking. See below for Collect account, license and transaction data handling.

Extension saves and local storage

Collections are stored in IndexedDB in your current Chrome profile by default. With a folder library, originals stay in the folder you select and authorize, with a local Chrome cache. First use requires email verification. Collections have no automatic cloud sync.

The extension saves images, text, Prompts, SREF, source URLs, tags and collections according to your actions. Source websites may receive download requests when media is fetched. Local storage does not mean the browser never connects to the internet.

Permissions and optional features

You initiate image and selected-text saving. Folder access requires browser authorization. Optional webpage Prompt copying is off by default and requires authorization for each website. Browsing alone does not automatically collect content.

Lemon Squeezy handles payments and receipts. The SREFLY license service processes the purchase email, order ID, license key and Chrome installation ID, and uses Resend for transactional email. Payment details are handled by the payment platform and are not stored in your collection library.

Storage, removal and backups

Manage saves in the extension and manually export or import .library backups. Deleting local data does not automatically remove separate backups or folder copies; you manage these yourself.

Keep a complete, verified backup before uninstalling the extension, deleting a Chrome profile or clearing storage. Source-only media may become unavailable offline or if the source fails.

Email trial verification and data requests

Request an email verification code on first use. The trial service processes your email, installation identifier, verification and security records, and the first successful verification and expiry dates. This is not a marketing subscription. Images, Prompts, tags, notes and .library collections are not uploaded to the trial service.

Trial and license verification use AWS; verification and transactional email are sent through Resend. The same email keeps its original trial expiry across installations; periodic trial checks require a connection. You manage your local collections. Email verification does not restore or sync them.

For access, correction or deletion of trial data, email support from your verified address with the subject srefly data request and describe the scope. The operator checks identity and scope manually and replies. There is no self-service deletion. Deleting trial data does not delete local collections or backups. The reply will explain the handling of necessary security records and backups.

External links and policy updates

External websites, Chrome and payment services have their own data-handling rules. Review their privacy policies before using them.

This policy will be updated as features change, with the update date shown above. Raise data processing or privacy questions through the contact channels listed in Support.
